O大会最希望看到的4款新品

元器件交易网讯 谷歌I/O大会于5月15日正式拉开帷幕，这是科技爱好者的盛会。这是每个人都希望在本次大会上看到的新品。

安卓5.0或者安卓4.3（又称莱姆派）：安卓粉迫切想知道谷歌是否在这次I/O大会上发布新版移动操作系统。新版安卓系统有可能将集成Google Talk，Google Hangouts和Google Voice.不过，安卓Chrome、Android 负责人 Sundar Pichai 在最近的一次采访中称谷歌在本次I/O大会上将不会推出任何新品。因此，这次大会上出现新操作系统的愿景有点渺茫。

谷歌眼镜：去年的谷歌I/O大会因参与者戴着谷歌眼镜展示跳伞特技而大方异彩。今年，谷歌眼镜仍将是这次大会的主角，尤其是其已拥有了首批体验者。谷歌眼镜将在2013年底或2014年初开售。谷歌近期对谷歌眼镜又进行了升级。期望看到谷歌眼镜更多的API和关于什么时候最终发售的细节。

Google"s I/O conference is starting today. Of course, tech enthusiasts are all geared up for Google"s big event. Here"s a look at four things that everyone is hoping to see at the Google conference.

Android 5.0 or Android 4.3 aka Key Lime Pie:

Android fan boys are eagerly awaiting whether Google will be launching the new version of its popular mobile software. However Android head Sundar Pichai"s recent interview to Wired, where he said that Google wasn"t going to launch any new products at I/O, has sparked off concerns that there will be no new OS at the Google Conference. As far as an Android update is concerned, we"re likely to see more emphasis on Google Now, Google Maps and also greater integration with Google Plus as far as apps are concerned. A new Google Games App Centreis also likely to be launched, though this could be rolled out to earlier versions of Android as well.

The new version of Android is also likely to come with a unified chat aka Babel, which will integrate Google Talk, Google Hangouts and Google Voice. You can view more on that here.

Google Glass:

Last year"s Google I/O conference was made memorable thanks to the sky ping stunts which showed off Google Glass. Probably nothing can top that level of madness, but Google Glass is going to get a prominent place in this year"s conference as well, especially as Google has handed out explorer editions to a select. The device is expected to go on sale in late 2013 or early 2014.

Google Glass also got a recent update. Expect to see more API"s and perhaps details about what will come to users when the device is finally launched.

Nexus 7:

Pichai might insist that Google won"t be launching any new products but the rumours of a new Nexus 7 have been persistent. According to report, the new version of the tablet will have a quad-core Snapdragon processor, ditching the Nvidia Tegra 3 processor. It also reported to come with a full HD screen and a 5-megapixel camera, thus posing a serious challenge to the iPad mini.

The Motorola X smartphone:

This one is highly unlikely but again the numerous leaks and rumours have added to the hype and interest. A lot of Android fans might be praying to catch a glimpse of the Motorola Mobility X smartphone at the Google conference, but it remains unlikely that will be launched today. All we know about this device for now is that it supports 4G, Wi-Fi and NFC.
